Little Jack is the story about a pumpkin growing up in a pumpkin patch with his grandmother, Grand Pumpkin. Little Jack wants to become a jack - o'- lantern and be picked for the Pumpkin Festival, held every year. But he was a late bloomer and wasn't growing like the other pumpkins. His grandmother reminded him that the Lord has a plan for him and to rejoice in life. This story revolves around the Bible verse, Psalm 118:24, "This is the day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it!"
